Brain Gym workshops
Hanna Kok is qualified to teach you most of the Brain Gym International learning track. See below for all the courses.
Brain Gym® is a set of simple yet very effective exercises that stimulates and integrates the whole brain. The result is an increase in our IQ, EQ (emotional intelligence) and our overall brain capacity. Brain Gym ® is part of Educational Kinesiology (Edu-K). This means that we re-educate the brain through movement. Thousands of children, who were diagnosed with ADD, ADHD and other problems, have been helped by doing Brain Gym ® a few minutes each day. It is not only for children, adults have benefited from the exercises too. They reduce stress, increase focus and concentration, to name just a few of the benefits. They are also excellent for increasing our capabilities in sport and to improve our communication skills.
Even after more than 10 years of working with Brain Gym ® I am still amazed at how these simple movements are so effective. Within 20 seconds, we can increase our motivation, lower our stress levels or increase our reading abilities. We get these results through movement, because it is the natural way of learning.
It is so simple and yet so very effective!!!
Make a Life is a Member of Edu-K of South Africa, which in turn a affiliated with Brain Gym International

Optimal Brain Organisation (OBO)
This exciting 3-day course teaches you how to analyse Brain Profiles (Brain Organisation). It gives an understanding of your own Brain Profile and how you organise your brain in different situations. Our profiles are not stagnant, but are constantly changing. That is why we behave differently at work from how we are at home or with friends.
With this course you learn how to analyse a person's brain organisation for different tasks and how to optimalise it for those tasks. This course also gives you a greater understanding of why many children struggle with reading and you learn how to correct it.
Before you can enroll in this course, you need to have completed Brain Gym 101

Brain & Brawn
Brain & Brawn is a new and very exciting Brain Gym® course. It is a unique combination of gym exercises with Brain Gym ®. Many of us spend hours exercising each week. What would the affect be if we would switch-on our brain while giving our brawn a good work out!? We would become healthier and more balanced! This means that we will handle life much better!
We all want to be in a positive frame of mind, but we don't always succeed. At times it is not easy to pull ourselves up, when we are down. This is the time we need the tool to switch our mood called Brain & Brawn. Besides learning how to uplift our mood, we also learn how to switch ourselves on for any goal. It gives us the opportunity to use our gym time to balance ourselves.
Even for Brain Gym practitioners this course is highly beneficial, because most of us don't know how to balance ourselves. Brain & Brawn gives a very simple and effective format to achieve this. It can be done at home or at the gym, because for most exercises we don't need special equipment.
Brain & Brawn gives us the opportunity to take Brain Gym® to new places.

Happy Ever After - Module 1 - Relationships
In this workshop the following topics are addressed:
Building true self-esteem
We often base our self-esteem on what we can do; however, if we fail, our self-esteem fails too. The course teaches how to base self-esteem both on a healthy relationship with self and on developing a relationship with our Creator. This provides a strong foundation on which to build one's life.
Developing relationships with others
With a strong self-image in place, we are ready to develop healthy relationships with others. The course teaches how to deal effectively with difficult and/or negative people and frustrating situations.
Learning how to negotiate win-win solutions
It is important to know how to negotiate positive and workable solutions, which take into consideration the different needs and wants of individuals.
Making friends with our emotions
Our emotions are messengers. If we learn to hear the messages they bring and act appropriately, we don't become "stuck" in the emotions themselves.
Dealing with our problems
By looking for the things life is teaching us, we become able to deal with our problems, crises and traumas more effectively. One can learn to let go of a victim mentality, become pro-active and take charge of one's own life.
Choosing and keeping our partner
Most of us want a happy relationship with a life-partner. Learn how to attract this relationship or transform our current relationship.
Success Stories
June(name has been changed) wanted to do better at work and the relationship with her parents, especially her relationship with her mother was very strained. After applying the techniques from the workshop on her, she felt better about herself, she felt better about her work and her relationship with her mother improved drastically. People at work noticed that she was much calmer and less aggressive.
A set of triplets were known as the gang. You couldn’t talk to one without the other two immediately getting involved. The children were loud. After applying the techniques on the children, they calmed down and they became three individuals, instead of “The Gang”.

Happy Ever After - Module 2 - From Vision to Reality
In this workshop the following topics are addressed:
Goal setting
Reaching our goals is often dependent on external circumstances. In this course, however, we learn to set goals which are independent of people and circumstances. We also start working on them immediately.
Learning to make appropriate choices to create the future we want
We create our future with the choices we make now!
Self-motivation
How do we move forward if our willpower has run out? When we can motivate ourselves from within, we move because we want to, not because we have to.
Time and Financial management
Reaching our goals is directly linked to the way weinvest our time and money. In this section we learn a practical way to manage our time and money.
Success stories
When I worked with the South African Manager of the multinational company SKF, he was amazed by the power of the goal setting techniques that I had taught him. He had to reorganise the company and now he had excellent ideas on where to start and how.
I knew only one person when I moved to Johannesburg with my young son. In 1997 started my own business as an Brain Gym® consultant, which was an unknown profession back then and is still quite unknown I somehow have always managed, because I had to practice what I preach.
